From this location beginners will paddle Rock Slough where there is little current and little boat traffic. For the paddler seeking more time on the water or enjoy more of a challenge, we’ll paddle north on Old River towards Little Mandeville Island or south towards the Bascule bridge which was built in 1929. This tour may provide opportunities to view Osprey and other waterfowl along with other mammals that call the Delta home.
