From this location beginners will paddle Rock Slough where there is little current and little boat traffic. For the paddler seeking more time on the water or enjoy more of a challenge, we’ll paddle north on Old River towards Little Mandeville Island or south towards the Bascule bridge which was built in 1929. This tour may provide opportunities to view Osprey and other waterfowl along with other mammals that call the Delta home. Price: $54 paddler Length: 2 hours
Many creatures call Sherman Lake home. Along with a diverse range of fish species many other wildlife can be seen inhabiting Sherman Lake may also include raccoon, black tailed jack rabbit, opossum and gray foxes. The marsh vegetation supports muskrat, beaver, otter and mink. You never know what's around the bend! Price: $54 per paddler Length: 2 hours
Come explore this beautiful area! Located off I-5 just north of Lodi, this preserve offers the ultimate adventure. The Preserve is home to more than 250 bird species, more than 40 fish species and 230 plant species. After launching from the preserve we'll travel down middle slough to reach the Cosumnes where we can rest or continue our journey to the Tall Forest. Price: $89 per paddler Length: 3 hours
This is a fun one way paddle from the Cosumnes River Preserve to Wimpy's Marina down the Mokelumne River. We'll meet at the preserve and then set up a shuttle to leave as many vehicles as possible at Wimpy's. This is a fun easy paddle on a gentle current for a little over 5 miles. Feel free to bring your fishing pole (and fishing license) to soak your line as we meander down this beautiful river. Great for beginners and experts! Price: $74 per paddler Length: 3 hours
Elkhorn slough, located just north of Monterey, provides the opportunity to witness seals, sea lions, sea otters and a multitude of birds in their natural habitat. This area is known as the best spot in California for wildlife viewing.Join us on an all day trip to paddle and explore! Price: $89 per paddler Length: 6-7 hours
Join us as we dip our paddles in the cool, clear water of Steamboat Slough and kayak over numerous shipwrecks lying beneath this historic waterway. We'll launch from Hogback Island Recreational Facility and make our way north on Steamboat slough passing the historic J-Mack cable-drawn ferry and enter Sutter Slough. We'll paddle along the tree lined shore until the tide turns and helps us return to our put in at Hogback Island. Price: $74 Length: 3 hours
We'll be paddling Old River and Connection Slough to explore Little Mandeville Island, Rhode Island and possibly Quimby Island. Join us for a leisurely paddle and let's see what we can find! This paddle will be a little longer than our regular tours but we'll have help from the tides to get us where we're going. Price: $69 per paddler Length: 2-3 hours
Join us as we ride the tide to explore Sand Mound Slough and head towards Franks Tract. There is much to see in this area and we may be treated to viewing river otters and many aquatic birds. Hop on a kayak and paddle with us as we paddle west on Dutch slough with what's left of the outgoing tide towards Big Break. This will be a leisurely paddle as we take in the sights and sounds of the Delta. We'll explore inlets and marsh filled channels to see what we can discover. Join us as we explore this small piece of the San Joaquin River. We'll be paddling with the ebbing tide towards Winter Island with a stop at the Dow Wetlands to see if we can spot the otters at play. Many rare plant species and a multitude of aquatic birds inhabit Browns Island, a 595 acre tuled island north of Pittsburg. Join us as we cross New York Slough and explore the shoreline of this historic island. We launch from the Pittsburg Marina. Price: $54 per paddler Length: 2 hours
Come explore the eastern Delta as we paddle south on Disappointment Slough which is anything but a disappointment to Tinsley Island. We’ll paddle around Tinsley which is home to the Saint Francis Yacht club and make our way to a sandy beach for a stretch and snack. On this journey you may be treated to observing egrets resting along the marshy banks or watch bass leap for dinner. This tour is great for both beginner and expert kayakers.
